Dr. Roemer in Tulsa to Speak on Holocaust Education

Dr. Roemer recently spoke in Tulsa, Oklahoma, regarding how Oklahoma school districts can start implementing a law mandating Holocaust education in public schools for sixth to 12th grades.

Holocaust Collection Donation

More than 4,000 books and important archival materials related to the Holocaust have been donated to The University of Texas at Dallas. The collection was donated recently by Dr. Marcia Sachs Littell.

This conference will feature presenters from multiple disciplines from across the globe on topics pertaining to the nature of war, genocide, and the preservation of human rights. International eConference on Holocaust Studies

The Ackerman Center is proud to co-sponsor, with the Global Center for Religious Research, the 2023 International eConference on Holocaust Studies. This virtual multidisciplinary conference will bring together historians, specialists, and researchers from all over the world to discuss the need to preserve Holocaust memories. The theme of this year’s conference is “Holocaust Memory: Embodying the Past and the Aesthetics of Performance.” As the conference is held online, scholars and students can participate/attend it from the comfort and safety of their own homes without having to worry about travel and lodging expenses.
