Since Fall 2009, HOPE has also been offered in the form of a undergraduate/graduate student project as part of the Requirements Engineering and Software Engineering Project courses at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Every semester, the students are eager to model and develop various aspects of HOPE such as communication, fall detection, emergency notifications, medicine reminders and so on.

The student participation and enthusiasm for this project has grown with every semester which is clearly visible in this video presented by one of the teams in Spring 2012 6360 course, which we felt, we had to share !
