Auditions
When and Where
Auditions for the 2008/2009 school year have been completed.
2009/2010 Audition dates will be posted in the summer of 2009.
Eligibility
Current UTD students must have proof of insurance and their Comet Card.
Must be enrolled at UTD as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours).
Must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
What The Judges Are Looking For
Energy and spirit are by far the most important aspect when performing, so by showing your personality, giving it your all, and most of all, having fun, you’ll be one step ahead of the others.
Finalists will be judged on:

:: Showmanship
:: Knowledge & Memory
:: Rhythm & Timing
:: Overall Impression
Attire
Day one of auditions: wear any comfortable dance clothing and dance shoes or sneakers.
Finals: wear long black dance pants (no Capri/cropped pants or any type of shorts); with any solid colored fitted tank top, black shoes, and full make-up & hair.
