Academic Computing and User Support


Academic Computing and User Support (ACUS), a branch of Information Resources, serves as a support for campus-wide computing.

The Computer Labs provide a modern, networked computing environment with both PCs and Macs available for student use. The Helpdesk is the doorway to computing assistance on campus and serves as your “go to” resource for campus technology questions. The How To... section serves as an online collection of documentation that helps aid in assisting users accomplish their tasks without additional assistance. Media Services consists of Classroom Support Services and Video Services. The Classroom Support Services group manages the daily multimedia and audio-visual requirements of UTD's courses across most of the buildings on campus while the Video Services group is responsible for video production, post-production, and videoconferencing.
